Welcome to the Boise Y-StridersThis is the home page of the Boise Y-Striders, a running club located in Boise, Idaho. Feel free to look around and learn more about the running scene here in Boise. Our MissionThe Y-Striders is a non-profit organization whose goal is to make Boise a better place to live and run through promotion and support of local running events. We also provide runners opportunities for getting together and offering each other advice and support, as well as great training opportunities. Check out our Events Calendar for more information.
MembershipThe annual membership fee for the Y-Striders is $15. Membership forms are available at the Downtown YMCA, Bandanna Running and Walking, and The Athlete's Foot. You may also download forms here (Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or newer required - download Adobe here):

(formally known as the Athlete's Foot), Y-Strider members receive a $10.00 discount on regularly priced shoes over fifty dollars and shoes under fifty dollars you receive a $5.00 discount. Boise RunningBoise has a lot to offer runners including incredible trail running in the Boise Foothills and an excellent Greenbelt system along the Boise River. The members of the Y-Striders take advantage of this every Saturday morning for our weekly long run that is open to anybody who would love some company and camaraderie during a long run. (need not be a Y-strider member to join us for the Saturday run) Boise was recently featured in the 'On the Road' article in Runners World magazine.
