From the President - a message from Diane

Greetings from the front line:

If it's raining, it must be Tuesday!

This has become the mantra of our little Tuesday night speed work session. Now, it seems like it could fit for any day. It is rather funny when you think about it. This last fall, or early winter, Bogus had to close due to lack of snow. The big question these days is "What's going to happen for Robie? Will there be snow, or will it be 75?" We could chalk it up to living in Boise. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to be stopping "anybody from their appointed runs. So let's keep it that way!

Marathon training for some is at the top of the list. There is a large contingent going to Boston this year. Wish them well, and hope the little wings appear on their feet. Maybe it won't rain. But then, that might mess everything up.

Since Robie was a sell out before it even got warmed up, it took most of us by surprise. If you are still looking for a number, don't let up. I know there are people out there that will be willing to sell theirs. If all else fails, go to the packet pick-up. There could be some last minute decisions made not to do the big journey. Make up a little sandwich board: "I Want to buy a number"

Thanks to all of those who have renewed their memberships. We are as strong as ever, and we keep picking up new members all the time. I think Rich's website is a real positive thing. It draws people in and then the coffee keeps them. It pays to have a professional nerd on staffl Go, Rich.

Keep Running!
