Runners/Walkers start 9:00 AM EARLY STARTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR TEAMS WITH PREDICTED TIMES OVER 1 HOUR 30 MINUTES

Early Start Times: 8:30 AM and 8:45 AM
Distance 4 x 2 Mile Run/Walk Relay = 8 Miles Total (approx) 4 person team (each person will complete a 2 Mile Loop) This is a road event.
As with most road events, the actual distance may vary.
Each Team will run the same distance and therefore will be fair.
Teams composed of GOBBLERS: 4 Men,
HENS: 4 Women,
CO-ED: Any mixture of Gobblers and Hens,
MASTERS: All members age 40 or older,
JENNYS & JAKES: Boys and Girls (age 16 or younger),
FAMILY: All members must be related

The Turkey Trot is an annual race for 4 person relay teams. Each person completes a 2 mile loop through Ann Morrison Park. The team closest to their predicted time wins a turkey for each team member. The start/finish location is at the east end of Ann Morrison Park.

Four turkeys will be awarded to the team closest to their predicted time in each division.

Must be present at the awards ceremony to receive the Turkey. If the winning teams are not present, the turkeys will be awarded to the next place team that is present. (We do not have storage for the frozen turkeys and must distribute them at the awards ceremony)

Others prizes will be given away.

"Winning team" is the team closest to their predicted time.
Not necessarily the first team to finish!

Important: Due to the nature of the race, no time pieces will allowed on or around the course. Time keeping by anyone but race officials will result in disqualification of that team. Come and enjoy the fun!
