3/24/2012 Spring Sprint Duathon Lewiston, ID North parking lot at Hell's Gate State Park 10:00 AM
Description: THE RACE: The duathlon is a 2-mile run, 12-mile bike, 2-mile run. The run starts at the far North parking lot at Hell's Gate State Park and heads North on the levee path 1 mile then returns to the transition area in the parking lot. The bike (all pavement so both mountain and road) leaves the parking lot area, heads out the main park entrance road and takes a RIGHT onto Tammany Creek Road. Then proceed out Tammany (South and East) to the 6-mile turn around (just past Lucky Acres Arena) then returns to Hells Gate. The run is repeated with the finish coming into the parallel parking lot as the transition area. Both ROAD and MOUNTAIN bikes are acceptable. The bike course is 100% asphalt

Description: March 30-31, 2012, 6:00 pm
12 and 24 Hour Races
Idaho 12- and 24-Hour Championships

You were always looking for a 24 hour race without asphalt and concrete hurting your feet and joints, where you can enjoy nature while running on trails. Look no more. This beautiful course is a 2.5 mile ‘lollipop loop’ composed of dirt trail and gravel road bordering the Boise River and Eagle Island pond, long enough to keep you interested, yet short enough to provide frequent aid. Mild terrain and excellent support provide the opportunity to set a new mileage goal!

5/5/2012 Lake Lowell Marathon Caldwell, ID Lake Lowell 8:00 AM
Description: The Lake Lowell Marathon will take place around beautiful Lake Lowell.

It is a loop course, beginning and ending at the Lake Lowell Lower Dam Recreation area where there is plenty of parking, picnic spots and comfortable places for your friends and family to cheer you in.

The course meanders through the countryside, passing farms and fields along rolling hills. This is a great course for friends and family to view runners along the way and cheer for them. Plenty of parking spots along the way in a very low traffic area for most of the course.

Aid stations will be available approximately every two miles. Gatorade and water will be available at all aid stations. Aid Stations around miles 13 and 20 will also offer GU, pretzels and bananas.

All finishers will receive an official race medal and be invited to enjoy a delicious, light meal while relaxing to a local children's fiddling band.

Elevation in Boise is 2,842 feet and the course is mainly flat.

Description: Teams of 6 using one van will complete 12 legs beginning at Stanley, Idaho’s elementary school and finishing in Atkinson Park, Ketchum. The 62-mile course is open to running and walking teams and ultra-marathoners. If your team has one or more teammates that live within 60 miles of Boise or 100 miles from Stanley or Ketchum, you are required to provide a volunteer to assist the relay organization.

Don't miss Idahofs first real 100k in the spectacular hills surrounding the historic mining town of Silver City, Idaho. On this tremendously diverse and beautiful course, you will blaze down rugged doubletrack trails through junipers and aspens beginning in Silver City (elev. 6100Œ) and traverse from a high at Hayden Peak (8400Œ) to a low near Reynolds Creek (5300Œ).
